Zaun Bhana

Managing Director

Zaun brings a wealth of experience in the information technology and services industry as the company's Managing Director. Starting as a sales junior with a multi-focused reseller in Darwin back in 1997, he quickly developed into a seasoned Corporate Accounts Manager specializing in product procurement and licensing solutions. Zaun also worked as an Accounts Manager with Express Data, a national IT wholesaler, as well as State Manager of a server based computing consultancy. In addition to his extensive experience in the IT industry, Zaun holds certifications from Microsoft, Trend Micro, Citrix and Telstra. Mixed amongst the demands of Leap, Zaun also facilitates an IT peer group called HTG which is part of a global association of like-minded IT companies. When not at work he can be found chasing his two kids around or playing squash.

Leigh McDonald

Technical Director

Upon completion of his Diploma in IT, Leigh oversaw the firm's systems and managed software applications as Network Administrator for Judge Constable Accountants. He was eventually offered a position by one of the firm's software suppliers Solution 6, where he quickly climbed the ranks to Senior Network Consultant. After the company's purchase of IT provider AlphaWest, Leigh became responsible for leading the Solution 6 infrastructure team, as well as delivering products to corporations including Microsoft, Cisco and IBM. In 2002, he used his experience in the industry and general business savvy to start Levin Technologies. After greatly expanding his business, Leigh ultimately joined forces with Leap Consulting, where he partnered with Zaun Bhana to create a unified and structured IT service provider.

Neil Smith

Operations Manager

Neil started his career in engineering and practised as a professional civil engineer in South Africa for 7 years prior to moving into IT. Having worked as a project manager in the engineering field, he accepted a position as Operations Manager at Electron Highway, an outsourced IT provider specialising in advertising. He was promoted to Operations Director and then to Managing Director when the founder of the business emigrated to the US. In 2006, Electron Highway was acquired by Netsurit and Neil joined the executive team as head of Netsurit's consulting division. In the following year his responsibilities grew to include the software development and training divisions. In 2008, Neil was appointed as COO, with the primary responsibility of running Netsurit's support division. In mid-2009, he took on the role of Client Service Director, whilst also being responsible for infrastructure projects before deciding to immigrate with his wife and family to Perth at the end of 2010. He is a keen sportsman and enjoys spending time outdoors especially fishing.

Jamie Clark

Client Services Manager

Jamie joined Leap in 2005 just after the company's inception. Jamie has a passion for customer satisfaction and building successful client relationships. Jamie comes from a highly technical background and holds various Citrix and Microsoft certifications. In previous roles, Jamie has worked as an IT Project Engineer/Manager for the Department of Commerce, New South Wales Government. He also worked as an IT Technical Consultant for Capita Educations Services in the UK. When Jamie is not contributing his skills to the Leap Consulting team, he can be found enjoying time with his family, on the golf course or at the beach fishing.
